This is the third year I'm spending the holiday season with my family in Miami, Florida. On the 24th we went to one of my cousins' house and we had typical Cuban food: lechón asado (roast suckling pig), black beans, rice, Cuban bread, and yucca. Although it's Winter here in Miami, we always eat outside because the temperature hardly ever drops below 68°F / 20°C. Also, since I have a huge family, our dinner is more like buffet-style, we have to serve ourselves and carry our own plates. We exchanged gifts on the 25th and had another dinner at my other cousins' house (she made lasagna this year!). After that, we sat outside and all my cousins played different instruments and sang happy songs.
Hope you guys are having a wonderful holiday season! :)

I guess it kind of looks like Southern California?
Had to wake up at 6.30am to see the sunrise. East coast problems...
My birthday cake! :) As we say in Portugal, I "got married to my birthday" because I turned 24 on the 24th.
